yeah, I have found some good stones so far, (Closed 4 or 5 gates) but im holding on to them until I find some good stuff to put them in... another question... When i get to the arcane university will the stones have a better effect by putting using the orrery(sp)?!? or will the effect stay the same?

they stay the same the orrery just allows you to ewnchant items with your magic the sigil stones are stuck the way they are ther are more powerfull stones as you level up though i have greaves that have a 20 percent fire resistance spell on them

i dont know i havent been ther yet the mages guild is the only guild i havent got very far in i accidentaly stole one of their horses and now i have to collect ingridients to join again i wont do that untill i complete the other quests but from what ive heard and my experience in morrowind i dont think you can have more then one even though alot of my items have moere than one enchantment on them so i dont know

thats what I was thinking, Alot of items have multiple enchantments so I figured they must allow you to enchant multiple times somehow.

that is one of the few things i dont know magic is my weakness i only use two spells heal and fireball and my firebal is mostly for blowing up animals it just got strong enough to blow up a brown bear

im with you on that one... My magic sucks... (Dont even have enough for soultrap) and my fireball does like 4 damage...

yeah i have umbra for soul trapping and Azura star which is a reusable soul gem I just kill a xivalia and get a grand soul htat recharges i think 1600 or 2400 points

The shield I've been using is called Eschurion(not sure if thats right) of Chorrol. It shields around 25% and something else. You can get the quest by helping that guy find his twin brother, and eventually clearing their house of ogres. Eventually a dark elf in chorrol will come talk to you and ask you to retrieve a sword. if you return it to him, he'll give you 15,000 but if you return it to the count he will give you the shield. looks bad ass too
