Cannot hurt/kill Mannimarco

Final quest of the mages Guild. I go up to him and he speaks to me, then attacks me, when I fight back, nothing hurts him.

I've og the black soul gem.

I've tried reloading, restarting, reloading an older game, restarting and clearing the cache. Tried attacking him before I talk to him. Nothing works.

Anyone else seen this? Any tips of solving?

If Mannimarco proves to be unhittable (it is a common bug), reload an old save.
