Nhl 2007 Help

I have been playing Dynasty mode and I have a couple problems:

1) No Fights: I have my fighting lever all the way to the right and yet I have not seen 1 fight in 40 games that I´ve played. Am I doing something wrong?

2) Face-offs: I lose about 90% of the face-offs. Is there any trick to it?

3) My Auto-save doesn't work on dynasty. Anyone having the same problem?

4) No League Leaders or All-star rankings?

1) Hit the Y button around players and you will get into fights.

2) Watch when the ref drops the puck. I usually pull the two analog sticks in the same direction I want the puck to go (but it never goes where I want it to)

The ref pumps his arm harder when hes about to drop it. Its easy to tell. And mine doesnt autosave either, its manual.

Keep hitting and use the slash button (Y) every once in awhile and you'll get into a fight.

Couple of options:
1. Pull the right stick in the direction you want the puck to go (if you win it.) The left stick controls the direction your center will skate after the puck drops. Sometimes I pull the puck back to the D-man and make a direct pass to the center who skates forward towards the blue line.

2. Tap the left-button (above the left trigger) when the ref drops the puck and the center will turn into the opposing center and kick the puck with his skates to the back. I notice a lot more people using this technique online now and you have to come up with a counter strategy. Using the same technique as your opponent will make winning the face-off a matter of timing and speed (if you repeatedly tap the L-button) but it does give you a 50/50 chance of winning the draw.

Against players who use the L-button on face-offs exclusively, just skate past the center at the drop of the puck (don't even try for it) and you'll be able to steal the puck from the center with enough momentum to split the D-men for an easy breakaway. Not 100% but a good enough percentage that will force your opponent to vary their faceoff techniques.

3) My Auto-save doesn't work on dynasty. Anyone having the same problem?
I don't have that problem.

4) No League Leaders or All-star rankings?
There are statistical leaders in Dynasty mode, but they are difficult to navigate through and sort. You need to move the white highlight to the stat you want to see and then press the (x)? or (y)? button to sort them...I'm not at home now and can't remember which one.

The ref only has 3 moves: direct drop, fake and double fake. It's pretty easy to tell figure out which one he's doing by noticing subtle differences between each. Experience will help with the recognition more than anything else.

I think the autosave only happens after certain events (editing lines are roster moves are the ones I know for sure). It doesn't happen after you complete a game so you'll have to manually save it (My NHL 07> Save Dynasty I think).

Thanks for all the tips. I still haven't been able to fight. It´s odd. I keep almost killing people with the "Y" button but they never fight me. I checked and my fighting level is at max. Go figure !!

fights are borrring anyways

for the face off, just learn his movements and hit your right analog stick right when he is dropping the puck down... i can win about 80% of them on superstar level

and autosave doesnt seem to work unless you change something... wont just save from winning a few games
