HELP perfect dark zero help

hello, this question is on perfect agent difficulty and on level 7... the lab infiltration one

and i already know of the video walkthroughs but they dont help me on this level...

ok my problem is when i have to locate that scientist and escort him to the lab.... he is never nearest the lab, down the spiral stair case... he is always up stairs in the main area and i have no idea how to get there... if someone could fill me in on what to do... and if you could explain it... please tell the way as if i were coming from the spiral staircase just so it is easier to understand

thank you and as soon as i beat this level i beat perfect agent and it really sucks.. i have played this level at least 100 times and cant get anywhere

I have this problem, too. I'm trying it on Perfect Agent which is bloody hard, so I FINALLY make it down to the lab and he's not there. Then when I try and go back up I just die. It's so annoying. >.<

yeah i have finally been able to find him but getting him back is an adventure itself...

first off bring the viblade... very useful in this level

i go the usual way down the spiral and kill everyone and then kill the 2 more guards that come...

now go back to the elevators that you took down to the bottom level and take the 2nd elevator up 1 floor... there will be a few guys but if you just run left you will have to kill 1 guy and can use the xray goggles to see the other 3 that will come... after this slowly snipe your way with the p9p through the large room and ignore the whole herd of enemies with the laptops.. now you must make your way through the hallways until you find the rat carroll... he is usually easy to find over here but the scientists will hit the alarm if you dont clear them out and i dont know how exactly but here is a lil help

if father says id or employee record not found... bluff him
if he is nice (forget what he says) charm him
and he also says this is father what can i help you with or something of the sort... i dont know what to hit... i have tried everything and nothing works on that... just run and try to viblade everyone i guess since there is no other way to survive the troops that come

but once you get dr carroll he will run in front of the guys with the laptops and then they will come and kill you everytime... no way to get around them it seems and way too many of them to try to kill so i dont know what to do... hoping someone else can figure this out since i played another 20 times today and only got this far

ok i know i am the only person really posting here but can someone please just help me out with this mission if anyone ever sees this..
i am just wondering on how to get past all the guys with the laptops now... i can find carroll everytime but i just cant get past the guys and there laptops... am i going to need to bring the mines with me and just try to kill them all?

has to be a better way so hopefully someone can help
