COD2 HUD question

This has been bugging me for a while now. Is there any way to change the HUD in COD2. When I play online and people get killed or I kill someone the writting is blocking my view. Like it says so and so killed so and so in the bottome left. That writting is messing me up. Is there any way to move that to somewhere else on the screen? Thanks

The writting got in my way to but i dont think theres a way to change it
