Mod chip question
I recently took my xbox 360 to a shop to be modded. The guy there said he would attach a chip inside the xbox 360 which will alow me to play backup games. but he didnt tell me the name of the chip. could anyone tell me? i will provide as much info as i can.
and if i play original games on live is there a risk of getting my xbox live account suspended

Most likely the case will be that he will install a chip into the Xbox that enables it to play games that are "Backup" or pirated from the computer on your Xbox. If you play normal games on Xbox live you won't have a problem but if you play burned ones or download demos you will get banned. Don't do it man it will really screw you up and its illegal too if you haven't figured that one out. Hope it helped.

Never heard of anyone tryna mod their Xbox 360 to play illegitimate games but don't think it's a good idea. Mind as well just stick to the older consoles like PS2. Still works fine with some exceptional games, especially imported Japanese games.
