More of a Global Soccer Game Question

So I picked up FIFA 06 today (yeah yeah points whatever), but even when I used to play my old FIFA 96 for the SNES (yes, Super Nintendo), I'd go for a tackle or whatever and I'd get fouled or get a yellow or red carded for it.

So what exactly is a "good tackle" then?

playing the ball 1st

so only tackle from the side or front

never from behind.

also use standing talckle like holding "A" i think

best thing to do is not to slide tackle.

if you press the red button (i think). it should be a shoulder challenge, less chance of being pulled up & booked for that....but if it's a pacey fucker that has the ball he could just rip past you.

I don't quite follow you man with that. Here I'll be blunt. I love playing soccer (I'm Canadian...so soccer / football...whatever) but my terminology knowledge is shot.
