Connection help.
My connection for the internet is good. The router is downstairs and the 360 is in my room. Anyway, everytime i go on live after about 5 minutes it disconnects. Theres nothing wrong with the signal or anything.
Any ideas?

Could just be interferrence. Are there any appliances near by? They sometime block connection.

Well, ok what type of wireless is it. You know ex. mine is G-level wireless which reaches to my room from our computer which is next to mine. Plus wireless can't sometimes by unstable at connecting to a router unless you register your router to recognize the 360. Had to do that for the Nintendo Wii.

Mines a NETGEAR. Maybe i should just put the 360 downstairs and connect it with the thernet cable.

That's more secure and it's better. I use a cable because I hate being dropped in games.

My 360 is wired in and have not much trouble so yes should work.

I have wireless and it usually works out fine. Maybe you have something causing a bad signal like a wireless home phone?
