Oblivion Gate

how the hell do i shut the oblivion gate? i have entered the chapel in the destroyed town. met martin the priest (thinks thats what he is called) and now i am in oblivion, if you know what i mean, i have entered the gate, met a lone survivour, and now where do i go? i walk up to some massive gate and it says another gate is open or something like that, PLEASE HELP!

also i have been everywhere and finially found the thief guild, i also have got some body killed by a load of guards ( a weird man who thinks everyone is watching him) i gave a note of the people he wants me to be killed to some guards and they went to his house, after he came out they went to arest him but he shouted at them and ran away they chased him and killed him, woops lol anybody else done this?

yes, u have to go in and go up a tower and just walk around lol, just try and go up. that what i did, sorry i cant b more help

My question is how in the hell do you kill those scamper monster things. You know? the Ones that shoot fair balls????

I cannot kill these things. Do I need to level up? I'm only at 1
