How do you grow your mercantile skill in Oblivion?
I havent grown it a level and bought and sold many things. 
How can you grow it? |

Press "Y" while bartering something, its the haggle option, the rest should be self explainatory.

Do it like this.
Get as many arrows as possible(cheap ones) and go to a merchant. Persuade him into liking you and then barter with him. Get his highest price on those arrows of yours and sell them to him one by one. Yeah i know it will take a while but it works!

^^^i've done that it and it works, before i used to sell in bulk but by selllin individual it improves faster.. its a pain in the ass but it works...

^^^What they said or do it like this:
Go in to a Bandit cave, Kill as many u can, take all there stuff, go to a goods shop, barter with them and press "Y" (to haggle), put the Haggle bar to about 50% and sell all the stuff u got from the Bandits.
There you go!!!
