How do u lvl in oblivion

Srry for this dumbass question but ive killed plenty of things and havent lvled do u lvl some other way ?

You have to sleep.

you have to level up youre main skills they are under youre menu it shows how close you are some tips if you have sneak as a major skill snek around a guard at night you can level up pretty fast doing this and acrobatics is just jumping alot heavy armor is getting hit block is blocking alot for blade you have to hit somthing alive for it to caount along with youre other combat skills also like he said sleep

If one of your main skills is atheletics just go swimming... that builds up your atheletics alot faster than running...

Just up your easiest main skills in the beggining then sllep
