Elder Scrolls Oblivion Armor

Can anyone tell me where to find good beginners armor? I am currently level four and using the Katana from the blades (which I used the stone from the Kvatch oblv. gate it is has lost its charge and i dont know how to recharge it) the steel bow with iron arrow and steel arrows, the Heavy Rainment from the Arena, the Blades shield and Blades Helmet. Is there any place where I can get anything better?

thats pretty much the best you can get... heavy rainment is a tad bit heavy... become grand champion of the arena (its really easy i did it at level 2) and use the heavy valour thing, its a bit better... steel works too, pretty much same as blades but it looks cooler.

I know this thread hasn't had a post in a while, but I thought Id just let people know that I found a non-magical Glass Helm. I found it at a settlement called Pells Gate.

Pells gate is on the main continent, directly south of the imperial city on the road that circles the Imperial City. A woman called Schlera Sestius is wearing it so you have to kill her for it.

If it makes a difference Im level 29 (or thereabouts).

Another Armor update.

I was on "The Collector" (see P.s.) Mission from Umbaco in Imperial city. After I found a couple of statues for him he offered me another mission to collect something other than ayleid statues, a carving from the ruin Malada.

Once I had the carving and exit Malada, I was confronted by a rival treasure hunter called Marc and chose not to give the carving to him. I was then ambushed by 3 of his associates, 1 of which to carried a full set of Glass and the other a full set of Daedra armor, including the helms.

Maybe if someone else does the same and see if it works for everyone. If so maybe this is a way to get a full set of light and heavy armor.

P.S. To get the collector mission, you need to find an Ayleid Statue from one of the various Ayleid ruins in Tamriel (Im missing the list I had of the varuious ruins, apologies!). Once you have one sell it to a store. You will then be approached by a butler and given a note. Then go to the imperial city (Plaza section) and go to Umbaco manor in daylight hours and speak to Mr Umbaco. You should now be given the mission.

you need to be around a level 15? i think to get glass or better.. around that i think

uuhh im in level 11 going to 12 in like very soon cuold i get a glass o an amor better than the one they give u in the arena or in the dark brotherhood cuase those are the ones i got any help please will be very good and i would aprisiat it jaja

(im level 26 and i have all of the daedric stuff besides that)

im in level 10 and it says ivcan use mithril armor where can i find it????
