I cant see GTA IV not getting game of the year with all the 10/10s. Although i believe it is one of the most overated games of all time, most people agree with the reviews and i think it will win GOTY. Gears 2 wont win GOTY, but it will be my personal GOTY

It will be mine too, but I respectfully disagree. It is going to be a close match this year. GTA4 and GOW2 will be the biggest candidates, and it will be very close. GTA4 may win, your right, because it has more to offer.

Oh no doubt that those two will be be the top two, with a few votes for some other games sprinkled in there but really no true shot. I think gears 2 will score even higher than gears 1, which was great(9.4 on ign, about that for an average). But although i disagree with them, the mutiple 10/10 reviews and popularity for GTA is tough to compete with. But then again if any game can do it it's gears 2! Im still rooting for it.
