It IS possible, but the problem with it is, kids with mediocre connections can host, and then everyone's clint-xbox will ping his host-xbox slower than if he had an amazing connection.

Matchmaking gives host to the person who, in theory and in ping, will have the best connection to EVERYONE thus producing consistent results with the least bullet lag, etc.

That and not to mention, lobby systems have basically become the standard for shooters now. And if they don't have one, I think reviewers and/or some gamers will hold it against them.

"ZOMG, Halo 3 has a lobby system. Why doesn't Gears of War 2?"

i assume you meant PARTY system? or matchmaking?

PICK YOUR LOBBY systems are so 90s. Matchmakign and PARTY systems are the new standard. Is that what u meant?

I want bullet lag removed and host advantage but I don't want a matchmaking system.

No way, jumping is not a part of GoW, we all know that! LoL Neither is auto aim!

I'm glad to hear you dont want those things... at one point i'm pretty sure you have said on teh forum that you like those "features" LOL. maybe I'm mistaken.

I'm not arguing with anyone btw just voicing my opinion. I wouldn't fight a losing argument. I know there are more points people make about matchmaking its just not my preference. I'd much rather choosing how i play the game.
