Anyone Had Trouble with B. Carmine in CO-OP?

A friend of mine and I were going through the campaign on Insane last night, and right after the part where you split up, one through the lower level and taking cover behind the rock worm, and the other taking the upper level, shooting down the glowing red rocks and then encountering several wretches in the room where you were shooting down the rocks from, right past that you pull a lever, go through a door, and there's a battle. B. Carmine keeps running into the fray of battle and dying, and then we can't rescue him before he bleeds out because of troikas and other enemies. We tried this 20+ times, and he was a complete retard each and every time.

Has anyone else had an issue with B. Carmine repeatedly being a dumbass and costing you the mission?

Yes, I did too, at the exact same place. All we had to do was kill the enemy as fast as possible.
Stupid Carmine. Some dumb-ass family genes there. Mrs. Carmine must of been smoking something killer stuff while pregnent.

Well at least it's not just us. My buddy and I were making the same comments about the Carmine family. "Can we get someone not from the Carmine family please? They seem to all be retarded."

I had decided the only thing to do is just kill them as quickly as possible, but I was hoping I was wrong. :-/

Just chuck a bunch of nades on the elevator that comes up to weakin them. I had a torque bow, that helped alot.

It'll happen later in the Hive when you split up, Baird loved rushing ahead into death.

I'll keep that in mind. I wish I had some grenades during the B. Carmine stupidity, but I don't.

I'm going to have to consider the stupid AI of squad members a flaw. The AI is much better with the enemies in this game, and that is awesome, but with the addition of bleeding out, the developers really needed to improve the AI of your squad mates at least enough to program them not to run out into harm's way constantly.

I had this exact problem with Baird at the end of Act 4 when you split up right before you meet the Locust Queen.

You split up, and he would just rush up like the stupid-ass blonde retard that he is and get himself downed. Of course, I can't rush up there to save him because as soon as I pick him up, I get hit with a torque bow from God knows where.

I actually had to grab a shield and rush with him after reloading that part close to a dozen times, each time the same thing happened.

Yep, Thats the part I was talking about. The part where your team is split and you have to cross fire. That part sucked on Hardcore and sucked harder on insane.

You know what is funny. All the parts that I had trouble with you on Hardcore, I did them much faster on Insane with my new partner.

ESPECIALLY THE DRIVING PART. With my skillful shooting, we got it on the second try.

Now the driving wasnt my fault. It was glithced, when we reloaded it worked fine. You were so mad

Wtf? I never died when we split up. It was always you.

And the driving part was your fault! My driving was perfect.
