i dont see why this post is stupid. if GOW comes out and it sucks, its going to be a major blow. perhaps not to microsoft, but definitly to the 360. if ps3 comes out and Resistance is really good, 360 will have nothing to counter with. there is a reason all these games are coming out in november. and every "big" title has to be big. they have invested a huge amount of money on advertisemenet for gow. imo, this game is hyped way too much. it is a precious exclusive. exclusives can make or break a console.

^^ True, MS has put a lot of $$ behind the marketing of GoW ($10 mil compared to the $2 mil of Halo 2).
But I don't see how this game won't do well. From everything I've seen and heard, a lot of effort has gone into making this a great game. Epic has a very good track record, and I have the highest hopes that they'll impress us again.

yea i just finished watching a gameplay video on gamespot, and must say the game looks very impressive. dont know how all the ducking behind cover and the evasive rolling will work in multiplayer. is it only 4v4? |

Yeah, 4 on 4 is the max. But that makes for a more controlled environment, since you won't be able to "get lost in the crowd." Everyone will have to be active to make the multiplayer work. Add in that your teammates can come to your aid right before you die and revive you and that equals gaming goodness.
