So, I called BestBuy again tonight and after 1 hour on the phone and talking with 5 different people, I managed to get a manager who has got me a replacement card which is now waiting for me at my local store.
Ridiculous that I had to spend over 3 hours of my life trying to get the card worked out. Not to mention, the hours wasted by Best Buy staff talking to me on the phone.
Their support at 1-888-bestbuy is quite horrible. Hard to understand, don't understand the products at all, and very unwilling to help out.

The only thing which is "future proof" is DEATH. Did I mention, I absolutely hate the use of the term "future proof".
