I Need A Quick Favor If Someone Could Verify This......
When playing split screen can you log onto GoW and play unranked matches on Live with a guest?  Or do both players have to be logged in on Live using their own Live accounts? I ask because my buddy would like to come over tonight and play some Gears but he doesn't have Live yet. Thanks in advance!

Forgot to mention, the last time we tried it denied us because we both did not have Live.....

yeah just have both controllers turned on....with JUST you logged in...then go to player match and have him press Y and he could log in as guest ...if i havent said it well enough...theres alot of post on here about guest sign in....i saw one jsut the other day

No you can bring guests on
I am almost 100% sure because I've seen people with the same gamertag in the room playing together except the guest had like (2) after the name or something.

just be ready when you play the unranked matches lol everytime me and my friend play the people there are just plain weird and annoying as hell

I dont think its even possible to play GOW with 2 live accounts on the same console.The last time i tried it,it didnt work.
GOW wont even let me do system link,even though its in the game option.

last time i played with a guest? last night with my brother... also remember in player matches...u might be jumped into one thats already in progress...so if your in spectator mode right away dont exit jsut wait for the round to be over...but u prolly already kno that?

Really, hell this past Saturday we did a LAN GoW Tourney and had 4 360's linked via router and blasted shit all night.
