21,000 kills and still playing....
I dont know how many times i have said " aw what the fuck was that?" " How did he not get down?" " How the fuck does he keep getting me down in 2 shots??" " Thats fucking BULLSHIT!!!!" Even though i know all that BS is caused by the "x factor" Which is basically, random shit happening, and little newbs, who dont have any achievements, or just suck, have more deaths, than kills have an advantage. I know this is fact because i have seen it so many times.....
And yet i still play it. I don't know what it is, but i dont see myself not playing at all. Its just so satisfying when you kill someone. Curbstomp, esp.
COG 4 ever.

i played it solid for almost a year till halo's release, then went back to it cos halo was pap! but have stopped playing it now because Cod4 and Mass Effect are just too good imo.. they may not keep me entertained for the same amount of time but i dont see myself going back to gears anytime soon..
shame really as it was an awesome game, cant wait for GoW2

I still think this game is awsome, only really got live so i am only starting to play it online now but i got it on the 9th of January (my birthday) last year and i played it all the time until i got every achievement i possibly could offline and now am going online to get them and well i think its still very addictive a year on.

Single player was great, I finished it 3 or 4 times.
I could never get into the multiplayer though.

The funny thing is though is that you think your great offline completing it on Insane and all and when you go online you get demolished, it really helps you improve online aswell

It's more stop and pop IMO
But i agree COD 4 has more depth because of the leveling and weapons system, but everytime i kill someone in gears it is so satisfying.

For some reason I have started playing Gears a lot more now...I actually play it more than anything right now...It is not boring at all, still loads of fun.
