you know you've been playing too much gears of war multiplayer when...
-someone that knows you playfully hits or slaps you on the back or shoulder as they walk past you, and you think they tagged you and turn around and dive back into them as they walk off
-you attempt to do quick active reload when changing the batteries on your xbox360 wireless controller, and if you do it quickly you go 'yeah baby' or 'forceeeee(locust)'
-you walk through buildings and parks in the city thinking 'this would make a great gears level'
-you look on the traintracks at the railway station to see if the hammer of dawn is really there
-you keep low and behind pillars at the train station in case someone on the other side has a torque bow pointed at you
-when you go to the cemetary with your family to visit a dead relative, you go off wandering looking for the mausoleum to find the boomshot and p3wn your brothers and sisters.
-you call your dad a n00b for using the chainsaw to cut the big tree out the front yard
-you bring a shotgun with you under a trenchcoat when you go out to clubs, so you can do some shotgun dancing on the dancefloor
-you quit your job/school because its cutting too much into your gears time
-you see one of your mates that you play geas with at his work in an office cubicle, and when he sees you approach he ducks behind cover and blasts you with a pretend shotty when you get close (true story )
-when buying a new car at the dealership, you ask the car salesman if they have anything with a UV turret
-you have the seriously achievement (10000 online kills)

You know you've played gears too much when:
- Your girlfriend knows about host advantage, active reload sniper downs and lag due to all the time you spend bitching about them.
- Your girlfriend knows the people you hate on gears due to the amount of time you spend bitching about them.
...maybe it's just me.
