Blah.
I played with most some people on this forum who claimed that I suck, and that they were better, they were on the opposite team, I was against them with random people and 1 noob. Yet I/we still managed to win. That my friends means everything. See, its not about whose better on a 1V1, who can pull and land the first shot, who can wall bounce like a monkey on ecstasy, who can do this and that. When it comes down the kills, deaths, headshots, and knockdowns in that certain match and all time are what really say something about the certain player.
In a game like gears of war, there aren't that many mechanics for people to claim that there "good" I strongly believe that there isn't THAT much skill required to play this game. Nobody can argue with that.
So my question to you guys is, what makes a GOW player good? He can wall bounce? He can land all his shots ? He can be very accurate with every weapon? Or what?
To me what makes a GOW player is there average performance. How many kills, deaths they get in each match, how many times they get MVP etc.
Lets hear it.

its not just how good you are in a 1v1, although that is a large part. Its also teamwork, communication, and what i like to call a "gears sense" that is very hard to describe.

People go around thinking that there the best because they "rape" in a shotgun dance. Its really stupid. Being that the shotgun is the most random/unreliable weapon in the whole game...

It happens to be the most useful in the game.

It's true, a shotgun battle can only show so much about a player.

Seriously, the only people I would respect, and call them good is when they use anything but the shotgun. Preferably the lancer.
