Seriously it's a game that should be in everyone's collection. Story mode isn't that long, but games are getting shorter these days with more focus on online gaming (except RPGs of course, like Oblivion)

I loved the story mode and can't wait for the second one. So I say buy but buy used because you probably won't be playing it that long. Multiplayer wasn't the best in my opinion but I did play a lot for like a month.

It wasn't as good as I thought it would be, I traded it away, COD4 & Halo 3 are way better IMO

I thought Gears kicked the living shit out of Halo.
Ive played all the Halo games, but wouldnt want to keep them in my collection.
Now Gears is a game where I'd keep the entire trilogy in my collection. Awesome, both offline and online.

the BEST game out at the moment (well i havent tried out GTA4 yet and i bet that will be good too) I always play it at my friends house and when we switch to like super smash brothers i like beg to play it again
