i would rent it first. I borrowed from a friend and got bored on campaign pretty fast. The mp is hit or miss, i liked it but my friend hated. thats just my opinion.

Play it to get ready for the second. Thats not the only reason though. GOW is a great game, and will give you hours of online achievements to go after. The campaign is also stunning. Best graphics I ever saw (and that was before my HD-TV).

The graphics are one of the best I've seen on a 360.. The campaign is pretty decent but not the selling point of the game, which is multiplayer... It can be pretty brutal once you start out but you'll get better and it will be insane fun. xD
