I dont see the problem with active reloads, if you can reload your weapon faster and make it more powerful then why not do it?
Its like people complaining about juggernaut in cod4, if you can give yourself more health then why not use it?

Just no pleasing some people

whats the point in having a shotgun etc. in gears if you can just active someone down with a sniper..

Ok, what am I missing here? It's been a long time since I played GoW.
I know what active reloads are.
I know what the sniper rifle is.
I know what a noob is.

But how do the 3 come together? How does using an important feature of the game make you a noob?
