really didn't care for it.
I played through gears 2 and honestly i was not impressed it was almost to easy. the control's were mediocre Halo has better. and the cover system is kind of useless, it get's in the way a lot. I mean sure it was a fun game to play through and the graphics are OK but i don't see what all the hype is about. and yes this is going to be a fanboy comment... but after playing CoD 4 all fps controls just seem wrong. CoD 4 IMO has the best controls out of any FPS. let the flaming begin.

I played it Co-op with a friend on normal, and I admit it was a bit too easy (and short) but that is why I can always adjust the difficulty 
Being forced to take cover, unlike on H3 or CoD 4 was a bit refreshing in my opinion. Not to mention that the Hammer of Dawn is the coolest shit ever. |

I like gears one better especially the graphics but i I still enjoy gears 2 a lot. Its a game that has to grow on you, I dont know many people that fell in love with it right away.

Yes it was easy and cut short, but you have to admit the online is nice and the new ranking system did add a whole new aspect to gears that it never had in the first.
