a thread just for complaints?

there seems to be quite a few threads complaining about the game prehaps we shud put it all into one thread so we dont have to keep looking at em but personally i dont have any complaints about the game cuz its sweet as pie

I hate that you have to hold down X(i am playing on the PS3) to make Niko do anything other than walk. I liked it better when you could control if he was walking or running just by how hard to pressed down on the Left Stick...then just pressed X to sprint harder.

Fair enough, theres a couple of issues, but nothing major.

and yeah, running isnt as good because you have to tap the button, but who cares. A bigger issue would be, you cant run....

I'll give the few complaints I have.

- Like Andrew said, not being able to run without holding down a button gets annoying fast

- The cover system is kinda weird to use while actually trying to shoot somebody

- The camera angle while driving is bad at times

That's about it. It's still one of the best games I've ever played, I'd only but it below San Andreas and Oblivion.

it's kinda annoying to navigate around while on foot. and i agree with the running thing. i like the cover system until i have some douche run up to me and it's hard to get out of cover

1.cops are everywere!!! icant punch someone without 15 cops on within 1 minute!!!

1. the running thing.

2. aiming can be annoying. I'll try to aim at someone shooting at me, but I can't seem to lock on that person, but apparently everything and everyone around him.

3. I'll have a gun equipped to go on a mission. I'll get in a car to get to the mission location. I'll get out in the middle of a firefight and my fist is equipped. It takes time enough for me to equip any gun I can before I die.

4. What f'ing language is that Jamaican speaking?!? I can't understand a word. I've put the subtitles on. Two problems. A) I can't read the subtitles when I'm driving. B) I still have no clue what the f he's saying!

5. Driving can get annoying. You touch a little too far one way and you're thrown way too far off base. And the camera angle, yes, annoying sometimes.

6. If I'm running one way, sometimes I want to see to my sides. But when I move the right stick to look around, it goes slow. Something that almost every other game has down pat.

But all in all, the game is pretty good. The story is terrific, and the gameplay isn't bad enough that I want to stop playing.

However, I can't wait for Saints Row 2 to come out as I liked the gameplay of the first one better and more enjoyable than GTA IV. Just my personal thoughts.

I think the cop situation changes depending on where you are. If you are in the slums/ghetto, then more cops will be around there because of the increased crime activity. But when it get to the rich part of liberty city, I don't think you will see too many cops.
