taking a cab

I like using the cab to get around.. saves lots of time . When I want to be a passenger and hit the y button I end up jacking the cab when I don't want to. How do you get to be a passenger in the cab as opposed to stealing it?

ive had some success standing near the passenger rear door and trying to get in that door.

You have to hold Y. It tells you every time you whistle for a cab...

does it actually stress holding the button like you have, cause ive never seen that.

i really havent taken the cab more then a couple times. Roman's cab drove off on me one time and i was pissed

Yea, you press LB to whistle for the cab..then hold it down. It tells you every single time.

I usually only take a cab when I am drunk, or don't feel like driving all the way across the map.
