i agree with ALL of them too... the game is really fun and amazing mechanics.. but after 40 hours of gameplay , a lot of stuff became boring, like the IDIOTIC relationships , you have 500.000U$ and nowhere to spend the money , fucking boring mini games , who da fuck keep playing pool or darts after 3 or 4 times ? like the text said: they need to take notes from great games like The Sims , etc... unbelivable but they put so much work on the environment and forgot about gameplay that made this game famous..

i also would like to add that what piss me off big time is that with such a HUGE city , you dont have access of 90% of the buildings , so many nice places, and you cant get in.. thats is sux..

this text also proves that the PERFECT 10 that ign.com and other sites gave , is no more than a lot of geeks who work on those places and went nuts when saw the game after so many years.. this game is great , but not even close to a perfect GTA.

GTA V im waiting for you.. maybe 2012 lol..

This guy is a complaining bitch. who gives a damn about what he thinks? all most ppl want in this game is to fly and have car customization, maybe more clothes would be nice, but thats about it to me. If he wants all that shit, he can do what I tell everyone that hates on GTAIV: plug in your Xbox, PS2, or PC, and play San Andreas. That game is still available to everyone. If he wants real estate and clothes, play San Andreas.

I agree with the money one.

In SA, I used all my money to blow on doing up cars, cause that was hell fun, even if I was about to destroy it within 5 minutes...

I really hope that in the future GTA can add all the best elements of Vice City (buying businesses to earn money, and rewards for increments of secret packages), SA (buying real estate, motorbike/car school, car modifications, fat/muscle), and IV (graphics, diversity, large city).

Anyone agree/disagree?

My #1 gripe is actually the framerate drops...I think it sometimes takes away from the smooth shooter feeling...makes it harder to drive down f*ers etc...

Still, I don't think this is a step back in the GTA series, I think it's a crossroads of sorts...what I'm sure about is; it's still too much fun to play.

I think the game made a lot of improvements not mentioned here. Vigilante missions are now much more exciting, due especially to the fact that you can shoot out windows in any direction. The organization of missions with the phone and email I think is a great innovation. The physics engine creates so many moments that are unique and difficult to recreate that replayability is huge on this game.

The cover system is not perfect, it just takes some getting used to. When you can't fire your gun it's usually because you're not at the very edge of the object your hiding behind. Once I learned this, it became so much more effective.

Buying real estate was nice, but not a gamebreaker for me. The only thing that bugs me about the money, is the fact that Niko says "I want to get paid." whenever he's asked about his motivations. Well what the hell for? What did it earn him in the end? I really expected it to lead to something meaningful, and I sincerely hope some DLC will tie up these loose ends.

I agree with all of it. I'm playing it through and then getting rid.

This game feels no different to previous versions, graphics are mildly improved but not good enough compared to true next gen games.

My overall view is that this was a sloppy attempt at bringing the series to next gen, when in fact it feels even more like a game from last gen.
