GTA4 = a dissapointment?

I must admit that I found the SP and the storyline to be very good.

The MP for me failed miserably. I have already lost interest in it, and it is currently collecting dust. They needed it to be in the same league as COD4 and they didn't even get it in a league.

Shame really, as with a decent MP it 'would' have won GOTY

I did love the storyline, but this is the only GTA to not keep me playing. Normally I could just muck about on Vice City or San Andreas for hours, but it's boring on this one. The MP was shit as well. Definitely not 10/10, but it was a pretty good game.

it is a good game but the hype was through the roof so after finishing the game, i got a little disappointed. There's really nothing to do after u finish it. Online is mediocre, and it doesnt deserve a 10/10. I dont think lot of ppl will play the game again imo.

I agree with most of what has been said, but I never expected the game to be perfect. I was expecting a fantastic SP and story which exceeded my expectations, and I was expecting a decent MP experience which failed miserably.

Apart from the Race, Free for All & TDM it is just 'another game'.

Other games, whether they be FPS or not, have creamed this game into oblivion.

I have already traded this game in. After I beat it I lost all interest. I got 35 dollars back!

I wouldn't say that GTA4 is dissappointing. It's a great game. It's overrated however. Doesn't deserve all the 10's it got.
