how can u compare gta to cod? a world war first person shooter, to streets and gansters in a third person sandbox game?
i found the multiplayer to be perfect, free roam is execellent.. u can get all 3 islands online with up to 16 players, thats never been done before, u shud give multiplayer another chance, wen uv got good players and the settings on the game ur on is good then the mp is godly

Its fun for a little while but then it gets a little boring. Dont get me wrong gta4 is a great game but imo the online gets a little boring after awhile.Still fun to pop in from time to time.

Seriously, apart the online and the new graphics I see this game as a step backwards in the GTA series.
I'll explain:
-No planes
-No car tuning
-No haircuts and tattoos
-No Bicycles (I dont rly care but some might
Thats just 4... But it does rock anyways i'd give it a 8/10

I think it became a little less arcady than the earlier games, which is why it loses that type of replayability you expect from GTA.

Just because i am a perfectionist, the fact that the camera is not directly centred in the back of the car kind of annoys me, its offset behind Niko. I love the game though, and the story is awesome.

The whole map is too small for Planes..

In My opinion it was an over rated game and i fell for the hype.
it was good for a little while but i think that was more down to the 'aww look a new GTA game'
I'm not gonna slate it as there were some fantastic bits to the game, just wasnt for me in the end

It could have been better
I would like to see a grand theft auto game with all the locations, all the features and more. It should have Liberty City, Vice City, Los Santos, San Fierro and Las Venturas. It would be so big that it would take 2 DVD dual layer discs to fit. To get from one location to the other you would hop on a plane. I would also like a co-op feature so that I could play with my friends. I think that GTA IV is good and could have been better but then we would have to wait alot longer for it.

im pretty sure GTA IV is one of the best games EVER, and i think it does deserve 10 out of 10. but thats just my opinion, and after playing it too much i need to take a break off of gta 4
