The DLC has to have new weapons,PLEASE

I have found this game to be sort of dissapointing so far. It's amazing how one little feature can hinder my enjoyment of a game so much,and that feature is the weapons.

Remember Vice City and San Andreas? Remember the weapons?

- meat cleaver
- hammer
- golf club
- machete
- screwdriver
- katana
- nightstick
- chainsaw (!!!)

Where the fuck did the weapons go Rockstar? I have no issue with the guns in this game really. Sure,some of them feel a bit lackluster,but I don't really care,I just want my insane melee weapons back!

Imagine how fun it would be rampaging with any of those weapons now that we have the new euphoria engine! Please Rockstar,bring them back.

Look, if you want stupid weapons like chainsaws, go and play Vice City or San Andreas. Everyone knows that R* took GTA IV into a more SERIOUS direction, and they're not going to ruin it just to satisfy 12 year olds' need for gore and mindless killing.

Sorry bud,but I'm nowhere near 12 years old,I'm just an old school fan of the series who really misses the insane possibilities that made the old games so much fun.

I was highly looking forward to seeing Rockstars new aproach on realism,but IMO they didn't pull it off. Instead they just left the world feeling alot more empty,with far less things to do.

I never particularly said you're 12 years old, but it seems like 11-14 year olds are the ones who fall asleep while playing if they can't paint the walls red with blood.

If you were a true fan, in the strict meaning of the word, then the gore wouldn't be GTA's main appeal to you. At least, my fellow walking lexicons of GTA knowledge are more interrested in the artistic aspect of these games.

I can see where you're coming from though, for some reason after finishing the storyline i don't really feel like sitting back for a free roam like i did with the previous games. I'm hoping this will change after a while though, 40 hours are nowhere near as much game time as i got out of the previous titles, but i can safely say it wasn't the gore that kept me playing the old ones.

It's not gore in particular I'm after,it's variety. I'm on the same page with you,I don't get the same urge to rampage that I used to. I just feel that new weapons,such as the ones I listed,would help that to a certain extent.

Other from that,I can't really put my finger on why I don't have the rampaging urge anymore. I mean it wasn't just about crazy weapons back in the day either. When I first got GTA3 I spent hours rampaging with just a pistol and a baseball bat.

So yeah,I'm a bit confused by this. Maybe when GTA3 came out,it was such a revolution,but now that we've had so many sandbox games,the awe is a tad worn off.

Anyway I'm just rambling now so whatever,lol.

The only new weapon I really want to see is a silenced pistol. All the rest of that other shit can stay in the other games.

the insane weapons would be alright for cheats, it would .still keep its realism if you dont use cheats

i want duel weld sawn off shotguns back, and crazy mad fun cheats that would add tanks and jetpacks haha

and parachutes

Whilst I do agree some new weapons would be interesting, I did stifle a laugh at the mention of the 'Golf Club'.

Although the thought is there, walking round LC with that in hand would look so out of place as there isn't a course on the game, or at least I haven't found it yet.
