Personally, I think the games have very little to do with crazy and idiotic things like this.
You can't blame the game because some people can't tell reality from virtual reality. In fact, usually the people that do these things ALREADY HAVE some sort of mental illness.

Police would not say specifically how they knew the teens' crimes were motivated by Grand Theft Auto and not by some other motive. They said they discovered it during their investigation.
|
Why would they not say? In other words, they've completely made that up, otherwise why would they not specify.

They just want an easy scapegoat so they can point the blame and look like they're dong their job. Pfft.

Thats exactly what i think. What is the point in having a rating system if kids younger play it, do something wrong and somehow it's the games fault. I don't get it at all.

It doesn't matter if the game is M rated or not. If you play GTA IV online then you see tons of little 10 year old kids. And seriously, doesn't every young kid with a 360 have Halo 3 or GTA IV or any other game which is M rated? The parents all think it's just a game, but then their children run around and play real life GTA

To protect the teens and all, but the parents don't care! I got Halo 1 when I was 8! But Halo 1 isn't M rated. But still there are tons of 5-8 years old kids playing games like GTA IV or Halo 3 or whatever. Can someone tell me what those parents think when they buy a M rated game for a 7 years old kid?
