Comparing GTA IV with GTA San Andreas, Of course will make it look crap but just GTA IV by itself and not comparing it to anything, Its a pretty fuckin awesome game.

yea i was upset about the mp.. I was so excited for it but it just sucked, i think it was the auto aim and people never knowing how to set up matches

I don't really think the game was betrayed nor its Rockstar's fault that you're not sattisfied, they said it will be realistic, and you got it.

I loved gang wars in San Andreas, too bad not in GTA 4 (though, it wouldn't work in New York/Liberty City)

Um, you sorta have to compare it to San Andreas because it is a game in the series and people wanna compare the latest "next-gen" one with the last one to see what changed, what progress has been made, and compare the quality. Of course that's gonna happen. And when you compare it to last-gen, we realize that "next-gen" only means better graphics and lots of fun extras were removed. Also I disagree that it's a fucking awesome game. The graphics are gorgeous, however the story was weak and boring. It was fun for the first few hours, but then got boring once we get into all this Mcreary and Italian mob shit.

I hope it's SA. The chances are it will return to one of them. There written everywhere and mentioned on walls etc everywhere.

i hated that they took out airplanes but eh and also the helicopters kind suck no missles they can reall only fight other helicopter maybe boats but anyways still a great game

I never said I was getting worked up, but seeing several threads about the same thing is redundant. It's almost like the COD4 where there was an "I hate the ACOG scope" thread every other day.

FWIW, I see GTA4 as a step in the right direction for the series. I only miss two things from San Andreas - Dual-wield .45s and the silenced pistol. Everything else was decent, but not "OMG, this better be in the next game!!!111one!"

I love the silenced pistol. That was my main weapon in SA. But it's not a loss.
