Liberty City (5) achievement (SPOILER WARNING - end of the story)

In the last mission I choosed deal and now Roman is dead. I realized that I have only 4 friends now (Brucie, Dwayne, Little Jacob and Packie). But with Kate it are 5. Does it also work if I have Kate and the 4 friends on 90% or does it only work if there's still a 5th normal friend? Because I don't know what to do now. Playing the last mission (I still have a savegame which was before that mission) again and choosing the other way? Is it true that then Kate dies instead of Roman? Because then it should work. But then I don't get the 250.000$. Or does it also work with Kate?

I'm not sure as i never tried to get this achievement and yeah i am pretty sure Kate dies instead of Roman also.

I googled now again and now I found it. Roman must be alive because the girlfriend doesn't count. You should get that achievment before Roman dies if you choose the deal way. If someone doesn't care if he gets spoilerd and reads this then it should be helpful. Otherwise you can choose revenge Kate dies but then you don't get 250.000$. But still it's really sad that Roman dies. I never did something with him because the only thing he can do for you is give you a taxi but still it's your cousin and you only came to Liberty City because he was there and then he dies and it's your fault! But it's just a game and 250.000$ are much. But I can still use my last savegame and play the revenge way. I can't decide. 250.000$ or Roman? Isn't money useless? Yes I can buy weapons but do I need that much? Please help me I can't decide. What did you guys do?

I took the deal and found it very helpful. Although there are ways to get fair amounts of money after the game.
No money is not useless you just have less things to buy.

Well if you have the save do the last mission again. Even though it's a pain in the ass.

Is it possible to make much money after the story? Is there any job or somthing which I can do over and over again to get money? I heard that there are some cars that carry money at the bank and it's possible to destroy them and then you get much money. Is this true? Is it much or are that just someting like 1000?

It's the bank trucks. They drop about 20 grand. About that spawns at the Auto Aurica or whatever it's called too. You could just do the mission to get the achievement and go back to the other with the money.

They spawn at Auto Eroticar? I thought at the bank. How can I make them drop the money? They really drop 20.000?

No some money spawns at the place. You blow them up. I would think they spawn at the bank.
