I might buy a tablet....
I used to love drawing random stuff and I'm always on the PC...but I can't do jack shit with a mouse, so I'm pondering getting a tablet....I've talked to a friend that does graphic design for a living and he said he uses a brand by the name of Genius...he linked me to the one he uses daily and it was $140....
I found this one on sale...
Newegg.com - Genius G-Pen F610 6"x10" Ultra-Slim Tablet Stylish Finish with support on Mac/Win Vista - Tablets
Any other recommendations?
I know Wacom is the big name in tablets...but I don't have too much to spend.

I have a Wacom. It's a Bamboo Tablet. I got it for like $70.00 about 2 years ago. It's got 6" x 4" drawing area. It's really nice. I got a deal on it.

You dont need to spend that much. I have a Wacom Bamboo as well and its plenty good for just drawing stuff.

Yea I found one of the same brand he showed me on NewEgg and they want $65 for it. Its 1" wider and 1.25" shorter...I may get it....he says it's really nice to have the larger screen especially for photoshop stuff, which is what I'll be using it for...but no brick & mortars carry it, so I'll have to order it and wait for it to get here, which I hate doing

Sometimes I wish I had a bigger one (penis) but it's not that big of a deal. I'm fine with the 6x4

Meh...if it were me (and I was in a situation like this) I'd sacrifice the larger area for the quality and reputation that comes with Wacom. And It's been fantastic. I love my tablet

I use the Wacom Intuos 2. 10" x 12" but I bought it from PC World for £50 a few years ago when Graphics Tablets weren't selling too well. The new Wacom ranges are more expensive so it might be worth looking on ebay for a good deal. Have a look here
