Grid is it worth buying
I've played the demo and liked it but I see that everybody is having problems with the game freezing and other glitches. I'm trading GTA 4 in on this so I'll pay $30 for the game, is it worth it?

I bought the game on the release day and I've finished approx 75% of the single player mode and I haven't experienced ANY Freezing and only rare glitching within the game. It's been worth every penny of the $60 that I paid for it. If you like racing games...I certainly wouldn't hesitate to recommend this one.

I agree.
I purchased it and its probably the most played game I have at the mo. Its not a sim, more like an arcade racer, but its really cool!
I had some rare glitches at the beginning, where it would freeze for a millisecond, but after the first 2 or 3 races it stopped, and its been perfect since.
An excellent racer all round IMO.

This game is very nice... HARD but nice.. it's not as hard as forza 2 and a a bit harder than NFS Pro street
Game modes r nice.. cars and graphics r awsome.. If u r into racing it's a MUST Buy..
but take care at the start u would be repeating every race for 5 to 10 times... but for me it's ok...
I like it and i certainly recommend it

Yeh it is a little harder then your standard racers, even on the beginner difficulty!

I had it and got bored so traded it in for Bad Company.
Its funat first but after a while it get very monotamous.

That's pretty common with most racers. Racing really is a repetitious event. If you like racers, you are probably accustomed to that and it won't be an issue.
It's certainly more arcade like in handling than a game like Forza...but I don't find it as arcadish as Project Gotham Racing. It's a nice in the middle style game.
I've heard a recurring them about the game being HARD...but I think that's mostly attributable to the more realistic handling and damage system. If you don't brake into corners and crash into everything in this game, you aren't going to come out #1 at the end....and that is the way it should be....that's realistic.
