Activision Addresses GHWT Drum Sensitivity

Yeah, also good to hear they say it was in early manufacturing. Still, a drum tuner sounds kinda complicated...

Drum tuner sounds weird. Hopefully we won't have to pay for this...although then again hopefully when we get it on the 14th we won't have problems.

I'm sure they wont charge you for a drum tuner... they wont charge you b/c of THEIR defect. LOL

They will make the tuning kit as newb friendly as possible as well, I bet.

The tuner kit is free, you can either go to their support site and ask a question(72hr response time reported on other forums) in order to get it, or call their support line at 310-255-2050.

It took me a few times calling in to figure out how to get to an operator as the computer pretty much loops you no matter what you do. Just say "Agent". i tried a few other things, operator actually had the computer say something and quickly hang up, was rather funny in a frustrating way. Not to mention from the call volume, you can get a busy signal trying to call in, i did a few times waiting about 20 min or so between calls

Im in the process of calling the hotline now, sitting on hold, 10minutes so far. there is no music or anything, just empty air, every couple of minutes or so you get a message about all lines being busy and to stay on the line.

I'll post again when i finally get through to someone.

--Edit--

Took about 20 minutes to get an "Agent", i explained the problem and he siad its a known issue (no doubt) and that i would recieve an email with instructions on what to do to correct the problem. I did about 20 minutes after that. it has a link to an existing ticket to update with my shipping information and Drum serial number. they will then ship the part to adjust the sensativity.

Hmmm Cool.

I'd like to hear if it works well.

I found this - How to fix the drums for Guitar Hero World Tour |

but if that works then I'd rather get the tuner than start taking apart the kit
