Halo 3 just launched, and people are gonna be pissed!
Well anyone that bought an Special Edition might be. Why you may ask? I'll tell you. As my made my way out of Wal-Mart after buying my SE copy I noticed a kid I had just talked to bringing his back. He had no sooner left the front doors to go to his car when he opened it and noticed it was scratched terribly. What happend? Well the nifty little plastic nub on the SE boxes that is suppose to hold the disc in place doesnt quite do so. The disc almost immediatly pops off after not much moving around or sudden motion to it. Thus being that it rode in on a UPS truck the whole way not being properly held it place and flopping around like a slopped out whore the disc is mutilated before it even hits a 360!
How many had this problem? Well in the time I was there, it was me and 3 other kids that had bad discs. They had about 30 SE copies left and blew threw all 30 with only 2 good copies to be found. Therefor leaving me and another kid to get our so so copies that may or may not work. The manager signed my recepit and said bring it back on a later date and they will give me a brand new copy.
Anyone that hasnt bought Halo 3 (SE) yet and plans to do so, slice the bitch open after you buy it and make sure it isnt destroyed. Then get it replaced with a good one.

I bought the special edition and the Legandary one. My SE didnt have any problems like this but i have heard a couple of people mention it now.

Im sure its only a matter of time before about 100 people are bitching about it. Everyone needs to check theirs in store before heading home with it.

I had to return it twice to get one that looked like it might be playable. The cashiers seemed to know about it ahead of time, so trading them wasn't a big deal.

wtf! that sucks! mine only got sent yesterday so we're looking at today or tomorrow i should get it, though saying that its being sent with a crappy company that managed to lose my order of two 30gb ipods last year and i had to wait about 4 weeks before getting them. i DID have S E but i ending up cancelling that for Legendary edition.
