I'm pretty sure the Headshot Honcho is for multiplayer usage. I got it a while ago so I don't remember. If it is multiplayer, chances are it has to be on Lone Wolf as well. Try that out if you want the ACHV.

I just graduated online so can enter lone wolf now, I checked my campaign stats and it said I got 16 headshots and no achv. so it must be online.

you have to get 10 headshots in a SINGLE campaign session or level
or a in a singular multiplayer game
i think it might have to be live im not sure

A few of them I believe you can get either while playing campaign or by playing multiplayer. The few that you HAVE to be in multiplayer (as most commonly, Lone Wolves), are noted in the very description of the ACHV. So as not be confused.

I just got 1000/1000 a couple days ago. I got all but 1 achievement fairly.
That laser one was driving me nuts. I was playing King of the Hill on Snowbound, so the whole round I was trying to score a double kill with the laser. Out of nowhere some guy comes up to me while I was like half the map across from the hill and he melees me, takes my laser, and gets the achievement. I was like WTFdadklajdasldaskld!1111
