I know with some routers as long as the admin password isn't already set then all you have to do is leave it blank and hit submit. That's how mine is and my dad's also.

i have a similar problem with my dyna link modem, the nat type is restricted which makes matchmaking extremely slow. i tried that command prompt thing and i entered in the gateway number thingy and i dont know the username and password either, i tried entering the username and password that i got from my isp but that didnt work, what username and password do i need to use?

i have this router and the username / password is defaulted...
Admin for the username
and a blank password..hope it helps

You guys DO realize that your username defaults are listed in the owners manual and you can download them right from the manufacturers website right?
If you changed your password and cannot remember it, you can always go through the factory reset option which is also explained in the user's manual.

what does reseting it do, cause i dont wanna screw up my dads internet, but i wanna open nat (and get password for wifi  and for my ipod touch)

go to portforward.com and find your router model and then in the next screen find xbox 360 and follow the instructions

All you have to do is when it asks you to put in a password instead of logging in as a administrator log in as a user. Then go to basic, click on setup wizard, then click on launch wireless security setup wizard and fill in your information, then after that you should be able to log in.
