The population isn't going down due to GTA 4. Bungie posted a report as to why the population has dwindled (MTU and Ranks for example). The numbers are still very high in other playlists.

Bungie has said that they dont intend to make the legendary maps free, ever.

yes, that's true the Legendary maps won't go free unless you start playing 4 years from now. lol. The double exp lists I like: Legendary Brawl. Lists that needs work: Snipers and Rockets. Lists I don't like: Grifball (everybody get mad at each other to easily and a blame game starts.) But this is my opinion after all so I admit this I don't like Grifball. Sorry everyone. Adding on: There are more lists I don't remeber them and there are new ones too so I don't really know about all the lists right now.

Well, that's what I heard is that they'll never become free. But all the info I gathered shows the likelyhood of them becoming free is low.

whats the big deal its hardly expensive.
Anyway on a side note i just stqarted playing again the other day. Havnt fired up H3 in ages. Downloaded the legendary map pack before hand and was delighted with the new play lists. Actually peaked my interest to get into playing it online again. Team swat is a great idea as well. This game really needed a hardcore mode like that.
as i havnt played in so long would anyone give a small summery on some of these new games types. For example.... what the hell is griffball?
