Ghost town pwns.
halo 1 pistol = stupid
Yes it had crazy power with a really cool scope; but it was a pistol. No way should a rifle or sub machine gun be less powerful than a pistol.

Personally, I was a Playstation kid my whole life. It wasnt untill Halo came out I even picked up an xbox controler.
On that note, Some of my fondest memories with my old friends were when we had lan parties at my buds house. Sure they were only 36in tvs, and only two of them but man 8 guys was a blast.
We actually went back to Halo: CE after a while
as for H3 I was dissapointed. I loved SP especially coop. HOwever it wasnt untill I DLed H:CE that I realized how much they truly did nerf the Pistol. Which was my favorite weapon in previous installments.
I also feel they should implement 18 and over or 21 and over servers as the game populace is rife with squeeky voices and horrible matches now.

What about a 50 cal. desert eagle vs. a MP5(reallife). I think the Halo 1 pistol was the Br of Halo CE. Halo PC opened up the larger maps by 2 fold. With Death Island and Danger Canyon.

You're right, the desert eagle definitely pwns the mp5 in real life when in comes to power, but firing of three rounds of the 50 cal. in quick succession with that accuracy would be damned near impossible.
We all know you'd like a shotgun anyway. lol

While I agree for the most part with the maps being the root of the problem. I think that the skill difference in Halo 3 is a much larger gap, stemming from leading bullets with the BR and hardly any auto on the sniper. Part of the entertainment of Halo 1 & 2 was the amount of close games that came down to the very end with a heroic cap or kill to end the game. While blowing someone out with a 3-0 cap or a steaktacular in slayer can be fun a 49-50 or 3-2 is usually more fun (For both teams).

i want halo4 badly . i neaver had halo1or 2 . i was on goldeneye 4 8 years till i switched 2 halo. i could neaver have a 3rd love.
