It's not really my tactical sense thats the problem, thats perfectly fine, it's more my raw skill.

...i think the best way for a person to practice is to challenge themselves with harder playlists...dont go into big team battle expecting to get better fast
challenge yourself by joining some ranked team slayer. this is a very competitive playlist as you get your rank higher.

also if you think your good enough, join in the MLG playlist but warning...as you get into the teens and 20's rank in MLG you will start to see way better players than you would in slayer and other playlists...for this is by far where all the second accounts and seen and played on.

Theres no need to practice. User my handy dandy "Halo Kill Guide: Noob Edition"

1)Use Cover As Often As You Can, But Don't Stay In The Same Position For To Long

2)Don't Underestimate Your Enemy

3)Try To Get Higher For A Better View of The Battle Field!

4)To Practice: Get Some Friends To Stand and Run In Circles, Go Farther Away and Jump Continually While Shooting in The Air. Practice Moving Your Crosshair toward the heads of your friends. Also if you need to- Time Your Progress on How long it takes to kill one of your friends!

I'm not giving you all my secrets because someday we may meet on the battlefield!

Let's be honest, that means nothing.

Don't think that just because you're holding the trigger that you're doing anything effective.

StrongSide has a lower rate of fire with the BR compared to the average of MLG players, yet he has one of the best BR's in the world.

It's better to be accurate and wait for a shot, than spray and pray where you'll just waste ammo and most probably get killed.

resistance muy bueno advice for the guy.
i couldnt agree more. i remember when i first started playing, i would fire all over the place, and now i know that that does nothing in the long run
i practiced and practiced with the BR and now if you look at my halo 3 service record i have more than double the kills with a BR than any other weapon...(i have over 2000 BR kills and the next thing i think is the sniper with around 800 kills.) <-- thats in i think ranked...i play a lot more social with friends...

just a quick question what is the wrecking crew? and how do i get involved, im really looking for some good players i only play for fun but i am fed up of being put into teams with noobs

At one point I was number 1 in the world rankings with Halo3.

The best tip I can give you is to shoot the enemy.

I was wondering the same and would be up for building a group but at the same time I think Im much too recreational a player. I dont even think I could promise to be on a weekly basis but whenever I am on Id be glad to group up.
