Looking for advice from top players
I would consider myself a fairly good player, but lately i seem to on a bit of a losing streak. Someone told me this is probably because when i play i simply practice bad habits. If there are any good players out there, can one of you please tell me how i should go about practicing? Thanks. Oh, and if your going to waste my time and say practice sniping birds, don't bother.

Well, there's only one way to improve, and that's experience. But like you've said, if you're developing bad habbits you're only gunna make things worse if you don't deal with them. Back in the early days of CoD 3 I made this really bad habbit of looking down my sight then trying to aim at someone running or what not, but I identified what I was doing wrong and I started following without scoping in then scoping in last second to blast em'. After this, omg... I was a unstoppable player, too bad I suck at it now.
My point is, if you identify your faults/habbits and deal wid em, you'll become a much better player all around. I dunno, ask some people to watch you play and ask if you make any mistakes, oh and practice sniping birds.

If you can give us some information as to whats getting you killed, or not giving you kills, we can help more.

Okay here's my advice:
Custom games! Do you know anyone who's pretty high ranked? If you do, play some custom. When I first started playing my BR was crap but I wanted to play MLG with people who had already had the game a while, so I just played some custom, BR-only, games and it improved loads.
Playing with good players will also make you learn quicker and should get rid of your bad habbits. Plus when you're matchmaking play with your friends as well.
Lastly, watch MLG. It helps a LOT.

Thanks guys, the level of response was great! The main reason i keep dying is mainly because of stupid little mistakes, such as not throwing grenades high enough and screwing up jumps. Also, my aming has never been the same since i made the switch to bumper jumper a month. Any more tips would be greatly appreciated. By the way, thanks those websites helped a lot!

I can agree with that. Just copy the pros. You can pick up a lot of strategies and tactics.
