Which do you prefer. Over at the Bungie forums, the vote was pretty close, and there was only a few more BR votes... which surprised me.

Battle Rifle is better. Its not as strong but it shoots out more bullets, making it kill people quicker than the carbine. I tested it out in Halo 2, as for Halo 3, I dont know which is better. I prefer bashing. Over 50% of my kills are beat downs.

I wish there was a both. I use both of them. My preference is Carbine though so I picked that one.

I didn't have an option of both so that people would have to vote what they actually think is better and we could see which comes out on top.
