Where have all the montages gone?
Halo 2 there were a lot of montages made by all sorts of people, yet since Halo 3 has come out you hardly see any of them. You see more gameplay but fewer montages. I'm curious as to why that is, as I would think with the new theater section it would make it easier to capture those amazing games and shots.
I'm curious to hear your thoughts on it.

Maybe because of the file share, people can just forward the own footage to their friends.

I see loads of halo 3 montages and alot are pretty darn good.

I'd love to see where you find them. The places I looked for halo 2 montages all just have game plays.
Pebbles I think your right that might be why we don't see as many.

I usally find them on MLGpro.com they have some good stuff on there website. Youtube always has halo 3 montages.

Yea, I also think that since we can just send them to friends in messages and store them in our file shares, people make less montages.
Plus, people got so mean to montage-makers in halo2, I imagine alot of people didn't make the jump. Whenever a montage was on youtube, etc, people ALWAYS, without fail, would flame the guy, yaknow?

My gawd the YouTube community.... yeah I can see that as being a major deterrent to montages. Maybe Gamevee . com will have them? I haven't really looked into that site but who knows, maybe they'll have something. |

Yeah a bit of digging may be involved.
But, at the moment, I think every serious player is consumed by the game, and not worried about making a montage.
