Confused at ending
I have just completed the game and am a bit confused about the ending, when they are at the memorial why does the officer say that he cannot believe he is dead ( Spartan ). when just before he was alive on the ship?
WTF?
BTW what a crap ending? The driving thing i mean.

The part of the ship that Master Chief was on, broke off. So he's just floating in space now...

There is acually a rumor about a "Halo 4" but it won't be made by Bungie.

after the credits as well it shows that he's still alive and heading towards some planet.. if i remember correctly

They never saw the Legendary ending that's why most of us believe in another game coming out.

That's completely wrong, Microsoft has already confirmed another Halo is in the makes, they just have said who's making it and what type of game it is.
In the Legendary ending they show master chief in space floating around and he get's into a freezing tube like the one he emerged out of in the first Halo and tells Cortana to wake him if they need him. This along with the rumors of Halo 4 leave many to believe there will be more Halo games.
As for the driving level to end the game, it's ment to be sentimental. As the original Halo ended with a driving level.
