Bit disappointed that the multiplayer feature is going to be exactly the same as Halo 3's, I had visions of slightly more COD4 MP involving lowly ODSTs instead of near invincible Spartans.
Ho-hum.

Well, it has been said that multiplayer maps will be included, and the fact that it in the original Halo 3 campaign you were a Spartan and playing as a Spartan in MP, means that by playing as an ODST in Recon you might have been able to play as an ODST in MP.
With the benefit of hindsight it is clear that this won't happen, but I obviously just can't see into the future like you can. |

Nope, Bungie has already stated that you will still play as Spartans. You can wear an ODST helmet though

Hence why I said 'with the benefit of hindsight' meaning I recognised the realities (that you will not be playing as ODSTs) of an event (Halo 3: Recon's MP) after its occurrence (the announcement in the Bungie Weekly Update [which I hadn't read until today] that you will play as Spartans in the MP).
