Get it.And don't be so close minded as to shut out the first two. Their campaigns (and multiplayer) are still better than some modern attempts. Leo was right, though. Halo 3 is probably THE prime example of a killer application, so if you've got a 360, you should be ashamed not to have, at least, rented it.

Yeah, you shouldn't have too much trouble figuring out the story, but you wont really enjoy it as much.

lol, If he wont play the first two, theres no way he'll read the books... though they are a good read if you like sci-fi books. And even if you don't.

Personally I think its a little overated but it is still is worth a buy.
I also suck at the multiplayer so take it for what its worth.

agreed. although i have been playing lots of call of duty 4 lately...its a great game too but still...it will never beat halo 3...ever. and to the wrecking crew...sorry i havent been playing lately...lots of homework, girlfriend, and my church youthgroup as i have become a student youth leader...so my time has been split between all that stuff...when i do play video games, it tends to be COD4 and some Halo...so yeah sorry guys. hope to play with you all again soon
