That's why Halo is top of the charts and Gears 2 is behind both CoD games... And over a year after Halo 3's release, too...

IMO, Halo is no. 1. Otherwise it wouldn't be the most popular game on XBL. It's got teh longevity.

And to all the people talking about WoW and stuff like that, the guy did say in the OP he was talking about non MMO games.

The Halo series will always be on top for me. If it wasn't for these games I wouldn't have gotten back into gaming as an adult. They also helped saved quite a few lives because of the stress they relieved. So in reality there is a lot of other people thankful for the Halo series, they just don't know it.

Halo is a great game. My girlfriend is more addicted to playing online than I am though. I just find it very repetitive. Although I'd much rather play Halo online than Gears of War.
